Metal frames are common on many sunglasses, and while silver and black are typical colors for low key metal sunglasses frames, gold sunglasses are more vibrant. Both men’s and women’s sunglasses can be designed with gold frames, and this includes thinner and thicker gold frames. Thinner frames, for example, can be found on aviator sunglasses with a gold frame, while oversized sunglasses for women can be found with a thicker gold frame. Often, the color contrasts with that of the lenses, and, in the case of aviator sunglasses with a gold frame, the thinner gold frame will be juxtaposed with darker grey or smoke lenses. Gold isn’t always paired with grey, however, and many of our gold sunglasses for men and women have brown lenses.
